Mel Nichols is the author of four collections of poetry, including Catalytic Exteriorization Phenomenon and Bicycle Day. Her recent essay about the collaborations of Frank O'Hara and Bill Berkson can be found in Jacket2. She teaches at George Mason University and has been a visiting artist at the Corcoran College of Art & Design, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Detroit, and others. Pattie McCarthy's most recent book is Marybones, published in December 2012 from Apogee Press. She is also the author of bk of (h)rs, Verso, and Table Alphabetical of Hard Words – all also from Apogee. Her chapbook L&O was published in 2011 by Little Red Leaves. Another chapbook, scenes from the lives of my parents, is forthcoming in 2013 from Bloof Books. A 2011 Pew Fellow in the Arts, she teaches literature and creative writing at Temple University.
